1st time with provider

A highly rated provider asked for full name, address, and drivers lic for verification.  I do not have a previous provider to use as reference.  Retired and going for graduate degree full-time so no employee phone either.  I do not mind giving info, nothing to hide, but discretion is vital for me, as I'm sure for everyone.  What type of search would the provider be doing how transparent would it be?  Any help would be appreciated.

She's going to do enough research to be sure you're who you say you are.  There are a number of services on line that allow a member to DISCRETELY confirm the kind of information she's requested of you.  She's not interested in blackmailing you or ruining your life -- she just needs to protect herself.  The better providers dump the data as soon as they're satisfied.

I am not to sure what type of investigation they do, but for the most part they are looking to protect themselves, mainly from LE. The more experienced and mature the provider will always ask you for this information.
