END OF MESSAGE

Hi, my name is Gemma and I know of TER and have 4 reviews on here.  I, however, would like to start becoming involved in the discussion boards and also familiarize myself with the board a little more.  Ok, I lied, I mean a LOT more.  Lol.  Any help and direction is greatly appreciated.  I'm a little overwhelmed and not sure where to begin.  Maybe it's just because I'm unfamiliar with the board but, again, I will gladly accept any helpful comments!

Thanks, Gemma

Even though you are not completely new, it wouldn't hurt to read the self help center here (life preserver icon).

There is a Dallas board; my feeling is that you should just lurk on the board for a while til you get a flavor for what is going on... as a provider, it might be your best bet to just respond to a few posts at first rather than post a new topic, as that is sometimes looked on by some as a disguised way to post an ad. I'm not saying not to post new topics, just wait a bit until you get a sense of what will be received well.  There is the general board of course which can be rough going for a newbie. I have seen a few new-ish providers go on the general board, get riled about some topic and jump in and then just get destroyed. IMHO the smartest providers avoid major confrontations at least for a while until you better understand the dynamic.

The politics and religion board is probably the worst as far as assault and destroy; I don't go there, so I can't give you any advice. This newbie board is a very nice and polite place to come and ask questions. If you enjoy dating older guys, the over 60 board is also a quiet and gentle place. Anyway, all the "specific" boards are pretty clear as to their function.

Oh, once you build up a bit of a presence on the regular boards, you can get access to the "providers only" board. I'm not sure exactly what the qualifications are, but I'm sure someone else will post here.

Good luck and have fun!

Oh, and I just looked up your pix. Hot, hot, hot :-)

It's like a swimming pool where if you don't jump in, you're sitting on the side.
