"MFM" is typically thought of as 2 guys and 1 woman together, but the men don't have any sexual interaction between each other. The guys are just there to please the lady. That's why the "F" is between the 2 "M"'s in MFM.

MMF (or FMM) means that all 3 parties involved are together sexually.
