if such happened already - meet him in place near hotel and give him  hotel card .
then
as you prefer ..or walk in together or separately .. big deal .. just you will be running a  bit outside buying
star back coffee  
Buy if hotel has nice bar - meet  your  dates in the bar..

Do not know .. may  be it will work only if - 2- 3 lovers a day ?
Try set up longer dates

and yes there many of hotels with no  cards at all ..
Hope you will overcome this trouble .. of course we want meet them all ready
but  little conversation outside would help then - then you just see yourself who comes
you can keep fingers on the pulls of situation ..look around  what is going on  I love actually meet in the bar and outside for drinks
