About trusting your TER buds- my past relationships with guys like Exlurker et el have pointed me in the right direction. Yes I would check them out as best I can but sometimes they have found a new diamond in the rough. Since we have the same likes and dislikes I have learned to trust there judgement only when there is no other wat to track them.

I have tried post before some of my encounters but the Mods have unapproved my posts. I wasn't shilling just trying to give you guys a heads up. Seems the Mods are much tougher in this area than I was used to
I'm about to write review for a lovely provider that I had the pleasure of meeting while I was in Fla., and I realize that I have given most of my past reviews very high marks. How is it possible that along the way I must have had a provider with poor performance. Carefully re-reading my past reviews I found them most accurate.
So hear are my conclusions:
1 Do your research
2 listen to your buddies at TER for for first hand experience.
3 Yes once in a while you TOFTT.
But my biggest revelation was the with each provider I gave as much as I got. I never walked into a room for a quickie and left without giving back. That makes the difference. A provider will perform to the max when she senses that you appreciate her and not just an instrument of your temporary satisfaction.
These are my thoughts. What are yours?
Buddy M, it's been a long time since we heard your commentary, so welcome back! I agree with with your first comment about doing research. I do not agree with your second conclusion about trusting your other friends' conclusions, if for no other reason than that I am a lone wolf as a hobbyist. I trust my own instincts, and they have been spot on since the beginning. As for TOFFTT, yes, just so long as she has a history of reviews that leads me to believe I am not throwing my $ away. As for providers meeting or exceeding your expectations, if you do your homework here, and treat the ladies right when you are with them, this tends to take care of itself...all you have to do is be a gentleman.

Although opinions about our ladyfriends are posted via reviews, I am always pleasantly surprised that opinions AREN'T shared in M&G situations. No elbowing or lewd comments like "I f***d her. What a hot piece of a**!" Ladies rest assured that at NY M&Gs we are very respectful and admiring even when you're not within earshot. The only time I have been solicited for my opinion is from guys I don't know on TER who PM me after I post a review. This occurs RARELY for me.
I agree, but also agree with Crazy Diamond (shine on buddy, is that a Sizzlin' Syd Barrett reference? May he rest in peace) that you cannot take everyone's advice. Check the "pedigree" of the reviewers (all part of doing good research) and, if you have actual "buddies" on the boards that is generally a lock. On how you treat the ladies, my approach has been fairly simple -- with dignity and respect, i.e., how I treat all people until they demonstrate that they are not deserving of such treatment. They are not stable horses (and not that one should treat stable horses badly either). On reviews, insofar as we are all human, YMMV is basically a rule and there are times when I do not bother to review if the marks would be low because my read is that it was a YMMV situation. Everyone has a bad day and there is no reason to post less than positive experiences where it appears that someone may have just had a bad day or the two of you just did not hit it off. The old adage: If you do not have domething nice to say about someone, say nothing. Of course, the modificatioan to that adage is also appropriate: If you do not have somethng nice to day about someone, come sit down right here by me. That said, I ALWAYS post if the photos are not real, there was a misrepresentation, a rip off situation, a "danger" situation or my read is the provider is just not a nice person. However, and knock wood, that has been rare in my experience which I surmise is because I do in fact do my research beforehand and have always treated the ladies with dignity and respect. IMHO, the ladies of the hobby perform an invaluable function in this thing called life and life is better and a hell of alot more interesting because of them. Women outside of the hobby should take note.
