For me, half the time I am stuck home with the mrs and half the time she has something going on leaving me some free time. Or, I could always fake needing to go into the office for a few.

Thursday has usually worked best, as it is towards the end of the work week, and has always been the just best date. Then again, I was born on Thursday, so I might be just a little in favor of that day of the week. But, that's just me...
