Going back to Fortitudes many lessons to us Fortidudeites, (Those are the ones that learned at the master's feet.) I like to first look at the providers web site. Read it over,look at her pictures. Before I look at the review I try and guess what their review will be like.  Then I look at the review. I am actually getting good at decerning good from bad just by the web sites. For Instance. and this is not always true. If there describtions are to flowery then you can almost expect bad reviews. It fun try it.

i have only gone with past reviews once,,,,michelle. i kinda like the adventure of the unknown and the chance of a hidden gem. fortunately, i'm lucky, and haven't gotten screwed over yet. and i have found gems who advertize in new york magazine.

you're lucky.  So far.  My experiences with the "unknown" have been less than sterling.  That's why I use TER so extensively, and other boards less extensively.

Be that as it may, the beauty of this hobby is that there are many different ways of enjoying it.  At some point you will probably take one for the team.  And although Idon't wish this upon you, logic dictates that it will happen.  Just keep us all informed.

with what you now know, couldn't you communicate ahead of time, and with enough back and forth with a lady don't you think that you could do pretty well for yourself?  You know, if TER for some reason imploded?

Also, I think that you know that one gets what one puts into a date, I'm guessing here since I don't know you, nor have I dissed with any of the ladies that you've dated.

I just had my fair share of dates with guys that knew nothing about TER when I did "serial dating", and they repeated with me~~ I would guess that is the best sign of contentment with their choice.  (Also, I was fairly picky about who I chose to date as well, I liked to leave a date with a smile on his face, my competitive nature.)

So, while I dig that TER is here for many reasons, each guy is SO vastly different and it takes a very discriminating hobbiest to figure out which reviews he can trust~~  Of course, if the lady is volume, they do begin to make a trend?

Now, go ahead and answer that poster with no reviews that wants you all to recommend which lady is the best lady to go to in Jersey!! LOLOL

But TER makes it easier.  And it's amazing how prior to the Internet hobbyists would skulk around in total anonymity, not having much meaningful contact with other guys that shared this hobby.

I am writng this from Florida, where I'm spending a few days with 1way, a fellow hobbyist and great friend.  Last night, he was with a fav of his, and when she left, he still had some spunk and he still had some cash, so he called an agency and ordered himself up another lady.  Oh, to be young again!

The reason for this story is to show you a difference between 2 guys.  I take Viagra for medical reasons.  Without it I cannot hobby at all.  It allows me, regardless of outcome only one date per day.  With this limitation, I am very careful, as my reviews bear out, to chose a lady that I know will in all liklihood be fully enjoyable.  That's where TER excels.

Can I hobby without TER?  Sure.  But why?  If TER and the like would suddenly disappear (God Forbid!!!) I would still hobby and endeavor to find other resources to assist me in my quests.

Insofar as your friend from NJ is concerned, having never hobbyed in the Garden State, I cannot give him any first hand information, so I elected not to help out.  Honesty reigns, at least here.  If I was able to assist, I would have probably PM'd him and not posted very much in this very public forum.  Many guys will attest to my generosity when it comes to sharing information.  I simply elect most often to do it privately.

I felt right at home!  You know, the "We don't know how much you want to pay, don't know your idiosyncracies.." yadda yadda..

Yes, we are intolerant of uncredentialed posters, as you guys are in SD, and for those same reasons.  I for one, and I'm sure I echo the feelings of many of my fellow hobbyists in the NY community, would not want to be the person who posted something that would get anyone into LE trouble.

BTW, I was in SD 2 weeks ago, and went to an Internet Cafe downtown to catch up.  There was another guy there who was researching TER, taking lots of notes on a legal pad.  He was there for at least 2 hours.  When he stood up to leave, he was wearing a pager and 2 cell phones.  His shirt was hiked up in the back, revealing what appeared to be a 9mm automatic in the small of his back.  What do you think?  Cop or pimp?

i would think cop or pimp would have their own computer. cops work out of some system so they would have an office full of people and computers. pimps act,,,,,,,,,,,,pimpish.

I am told that a webmaster, or anyone who knows about computers can track the source of an e-mail to a specific IP address.  That said, any e-mail emanating from, say, a police computer can be figured out. Also, I am told that the climate in SD is so bad, that many of the providers are not even seeing locals, but only visiting businessmen.  Therefore, it is possible that LE might use outside computer resources in an effort to mask their activities.

My refernce to cops/pimps referred to the hardware the guy was wearing, and an attempt at humor.  Lighten up.

love to know what Cafe you were in...  I'd like to go down and send myself emails from the computers there!
