Perhapse you are new at this, but next time don't EVER send deposit for an unknown provider, who has no reviews anywhere. You might as well chalk it up now. I wrote to her also, and offered to give solid references in lieu of the 50% deposit. Never heard from her since. If she's so new at this and so worry about the no shows, wouldn't she rather accept some good reliable references from me? Something is just too fishy here....
by requesting a 50% deposit up front,she gets all this money without having to do one bit of work. She also has no overhead(travel expenses,hotel,meals,etc.)which probably amounts to a good percentage of the real working girls gross profits. Therefore, she nets about the same without doing anything but collecting the suckers money. Don't ever send a deposit to an unknown. The excuse about no shows is too bad....that's considered the cost of doing business whether it be hobbying or any other business.
Unless it is a provider that you know(or is well known on the boards), I would not send her a deposit. Too many risks involved with that. When seeing a provider for a first time I would only pay her the day of the meeting. Now, if I decided to see her again and she wanted a deposit, then that is a different story.
