Who are these providers getting screwed by TER?

Sure the hobby is a business but it can also be called

"ONCE IN A LIFETIME" experience because most of the time we will only see a lady once in our life. May it me that the lady is only visiting the area or she has decided to retire and you saw her at the end of her career. Ladies can de-list themselves as we have seen in the past.

You are on shaky ground here.
In your subject line you say it seems that TER is ………..then in the text of your post you make direct accusations. You offer no proof. I will grant you that de-listed ladies cannot be mentioned in posts (at least that is my understanding of the rules), but however, to spout off in that way with no proof or any details  whatsoever does make me ask what are your motivations for these statements.

Kinkydad, there's one in particular I suspect we both know.

I'm not sure if it's an active decision, or simply losing pointers in the vast database. I can't see it as an active decision, mostly because it's so counterproductive to TER's business. I can see it easily as a database hiccup. Who knows how well constructed & maintained the TER infrastructure truly is?

We tend to notice high profile providers simply because they're high profile. There may be many more providers lost for the same reason, but since we don't look for them, we don't notice their absences and don't post about their status.

As I understand it, a well reviewed provider with a standard provider limited-VIP account recently opened a second account and pretended to be a new member in order to post comments to one of the boards. Since that's against the rules, she was banned and delisted.

Not recent, but around two years ago (when I first joined), I tried to post a question about someone with ads on eros or backpage but whose posted ter id number came up empty. A mod explained to me that you can't mention banned providers (by name or links) in your posts and that the provider I was trying to ask about was banned (with no explanation). From other boards and websites I think this was a case of a TS who hid and also denied the fact that they were a TS, grounds for being banned and delisted.

Sometimes a misunderstanding happens.  Sometimes it's true deception.  If they ever do come back, it is usually a mutual understanding of the circumstances or a cursory acknowledgment of the mistake(s) leading to their expulsion and/or reinstatement.

It's a sad case, but that's life.  I, personally, would like to see everyone be a part of TER, but this is an imperfect world.  I've helped some ladies out in reaching the right people to talk to, but sometimes it cannot be helped regarding the situation.

We can all think of many ways, many reasons for why it happens.  At the end of the day, life goes on.
