I am guilty of not answering timely...not because I am ignoring the mails, but because I am tied up back home taking care of family (or with my kids & SO around).

Back home, my satellite internet services sucks big time,  as I live in the woods away from town...my cell switches from SOS to one single bar, all the time.

If you have the lady phone number, try to text instead.

I found out that the text feature always works, even with bad reception. Also, you might get a faster response because we get texts right away, before we can log on our computers to check our inbox (not all ladies receive mails right into their phones).

Normally, I'd move on after 2 attempts, too.  But there was a gal I really wanted to see, so I kept trying.  It turns out I should have just called instead of e-mailing.  We had a great time and I'll see her again.

Its someone Id really like to see and she has great reviews and is well known. I feel weird just calling and prefer emeil until they say its acceptable to call. I might try one more email.

You might try a different approach before giving up.  My contacts with the lady in my example were about four attempts over a period of 3 or 4 months.

The summer is still winding down and many NYC gals are still away. Others may have family things to sort out. The new school year is upon us. Maybe she is gearing up for college, etc... And how far in advance were you asking to meet?  I've had ladies take several days to respond, even more than a week.  Also, some prefer to be contacted by phone...I might try that next if that were an option.  Since you've sent two e-mails already, that's enough.  If your contact was via PM rather than to her regular e-mail, that might explain things as well, since many ladies do not respond as quickly to PM's.  Good luck!
