You will do well here. I think central long island is best. Maybe west suffolk or eastern Nassau county. There's a nice Marriot of the LIE exit 49 in Huntington/Melville or the Marriot in Uniondale. Hopefully, i'll see you there.
If you want to work in Manhattan it has to be during the week. Guys are not in the city working on the weekend. Take the weekend off and see the sites with the tourists.
Don't listen to this guy he will cost you money; you will make allot more money in Manhattan than in middle class Long Island. But if you do want to go to both you should stay in Manhattan during the week and spend the weekend in Long Island.
For me the weekend. Love a 2-3 hour deal,weekdays not good for us living in the city. Work late weekdays and play on the weekends. As a provider probably best for you doing the week day cause everyone traveling into the city. For us needing more time, weekends are the best.
They both are full of it. One wants you doing the week, and the other way out on the Island. You can make money in both places during the week or weekend. When summer comes you should be on the Island, as a number of people go there on the weekend as a get away from the city.
I live in Manhattan, so if course I have a vested interest in you being in the City. The only deal in LI is you are competing with quality agencies at a competitive rate. You can spend a week in NYC and a week on Long Island. I am sure you are going to make money either way. Both are great places to visit, and both have good quality hobbyists. Kelly... You'd do well on Long Island AND in Manhattan. You have the looks that New York guys LOVE. I agree with the posts that say you should divide your time between Manhattan and L.I. By the way... great reviews.
weekends are taken by other "obligations" in many people's lives. best location is in midtown: highest concentration of offices and transportation centers (grand central, port authority) so most people pass through at some point in their day

If you're going to do Long Island, try to stay near the North Shore of Nassau County. More money, more sophisticated clientele. South shore is generally a lot more blue collar.
