What to do?..

So, perhaps like many, in this economy, you're like me trying to save some money, cut back on discretionary spending. But of course, you see a tasty treat on TER or EROS who you've always sought to meet. What do you do? The rate is decent, but its pricy, but this person is well known, hot, and on your to do for a long time.

really want, then find a way to get it. Don't use your rent money or anything really important, but take money from another area that you can afford to, without leaving yourself in a financial jam. As they say, "this is not a dress rehearsal".  You may not get a second chance if you wait too long. I always tell myself that when I'm old and gray and rocking in my rocking chair on my porch and looking back, I don't ever want to be saying, "Oh, I would have, should have, could have." I want to be saying, "YES! I have gone after everything I've ever wanted and now have the memories to think back on."

I have imposed a price ceiling on myself and so far have stuck to it. Right now there is someone I want to see who is "only" $100 above my limit. OF course I could afford it if I really wanted to. But where does it stop. I feel it is the only thing standing between me and throwing away huge sums of money. I don't regret a dime I have spent so far and want to keep it that way.

If you really want to see that person, I think you still should. Your "where does it end" is a valid question. However, if someone catches your attention in a positive way- you might just be really surprised at how much extra enjoyable the date might be. Yeah, you'll see her less overall, but the dates might so satisfactory that you are ok with that. Like having a delectable steak that you can really savor 2 or 3 times a month vs having that mediocre burger 1x or 2x a week.

Had to bring some sort of sanity.  There are tons of ladies who are 100 over my limit - but there are also so many great provider that I don't have to exceed my cap.  So I don't.

NYC offers a host of quality providers across a spectrum of price points so overspending one's budget is rarely necessary. You obviously do your homework, make a plan and stick to it.  I applaud your ability to have fun without loosing your perspective.
