post using an alias on regional board, "pm me for details." No excuse on either side for NCNS. Yeah I know emergencies and all that but really, how often does one have an emergency so critical that it precludes taking 30 seconds to fire off a text or email. For the record I've only been NCNS'd once so I don't have an axe to grind here other than it's a pet peeve, in or out of the hobby. Common courtesy really.

What I've seen recently is several posts identifying a provider for being a NCNS because TER doesn't allow a person to submit a review when this situation happens.  

they usually don't have any recourse other than to share information, and they should. NCNS hobbyists hurt the rest of us, maybe I wanted that time and it's used up by someone who's dicking around. Now she's fucked and so am I (or more to the point, neither of us are).

and it's not just in the hobby that it happens.

I have to agree that the women and the men have about equal recourse where it comes to NCNS. Neither can really do a lot about it except to warn their peers, and maybe rant about it a bit on their regional board.

There really should be a place where both the guys and the girls can report chronic no shows, but the subject has beaten to death with no solution in sight.
