Personally,i would lie ....being honest in this case does not help...i mean,it is not a long lastin relationship you are lying about...it is a one night stand, just that!!!!

The positive that can come from it is understanding. Maybe she can understand and become more intimate with you, if that has left.....doubtful.

Another thing that can possibly happen is, if sex drive isn't there anymore, it can spark it up and maybe even began you guys branching out as a Couple.

The more common act to follow is anger and downhill struggles. Tough to call, but since you say you were caught in the act I think it's best you try to read the situation and make a decision that will be best for you. Excuses can always be made up, if none can be made then it's obvious to tell the truth

I've been caught a couple of times.  I know I'm a terrible liar so I owned up.  It was bad but probably not as bad as clinging to the lie.  But it depends on how good a liar you are, how credible and air-tight your excuse is, and how good a bullshit detector your SO has.

Or come clean and hope she's into threesomes.  Either way, you'll need to up your playa game.

Keep your story straight.  I've been grilled at the most inopportune times to see if my story will waiver, like waking me up in the middle of the night cuz she watched some bullshit cheating episode on Oprah.  Once you're caught, she will always suspect the worst.  The price we pay for OPP.

My SO once told me that her brother had "seen a prostitute." How did she know? Well, her brother's wife found a provider's card in his jacket pocket and confronted him. He confessed. Then the wife waited until an all-hands family dinner and blurted it all out - in his parent's house! And she changed her pussy password shortly thereafter - he's been locked out for years.

If your wife has not already done threesomes or some other freaky shit involving you and a third party during your marriage, them DENY, DENY, DENY, and then get your covert game shit corrected.

1) A woman can forgive but she'll never forget.
2) You can never catch a fish if he doesn't open his mouth.
Stick with denial. The doubt hopefully will fade with time and if you're clever you can get beyond it. If you admit it that transgression could rear it's ugly head and bite you in the ass years from now.

or at least your wife, house, family, reputation and wealth.
If you confess, you will never be able to live it down. She will probably taunt you for the rest of your time with her or divorce you.

Unless she caught you in the act of dipping your rod, you need to be creative and come up with a good story.

The simple answer is to lie.

There is a bigger question.  Did you want to get caught?  If not, lie...if you did, well then this is the opening to a deeper conversation with your SO.
