It can definitely put you (in a generic sense) at risk for STI's. Herpes, syphilis, and HPV are three STI's that are transmitted primarily through skin-to-skin (more specifically, genital-to-genital) contact.
In general, condoms are most effective against diseases transmitted via bodily fluids. Not so effective against the three I named above, for the reasons that all skin (shaft of penis, balls, perineum) is not covered (posted a link to a CDC article). But 'stripper slide' is one activity in which condoms can significantly reduce risk.
So...each of us has his/her own risk tolerance, but be aware of those risks that you (generic sense) are taking.
