I played in the pre-Internet days of 1986-1993 in henhouses up and down the East side of Manhattan.  Some of them got busted and most were closed down by Giuliani but I was never there when it happened.  Since starting up again more than a year ago I haven't even seen a cop.  Sticking with well-reviewd gals probably helps.

Semi private location.  He was investigating something else and walked right in on us.  Apparently he watched for a minute before I realized he was there.  Clearly he didn't know she was an escort, because he just asked a quick question pertaining to his investigation and left.

Twice on the way home, there were DUI roadblocks set up at the Lincoln Tunnel.  Once, they just waved me through.  The other time, they stopped me to check credentials and ask if I had had anything to drink that evening.  "No, officer".  "Have a pleasant evening, sir" as he hands them back to me.  Both times, I did my usual, and had only water when meeting with the lady.  Aside from that, there have been a number of interesting encounters over the years: Cops parked across the street from her incall, getting take out from a restaurant; they paid no attention to me.  Another time, there were two cops stationed outside a hotel in Manhattan, but I just walked past them.  On the way out a couple of hours later, the same two were still there, and we walked past them again, and the lady was with me.  I've also seen LE patrolling parking lots drive past me when I was making the second call, encountered them in the men's room while waiting for a lady to come down to the lobby at a hotel with keyed elevators, and even ran into a pair while buying refreshments with the lady at a coffee shop before festivities began.  The cops were talking about what they should get, and my lady friend made suggestions about her favorite items at the store.  They seemed appreciative for her input, and even said bye to us as we left.

I think what I mean to say is that unless LE is targeting us specifically, we are usually not in danger unless we do something stupid.   Just act normal if you have a casual encounter with them.  

 

Act normal, use well reviewed ladies and enjoy.

Never even come close.  Knock on wood.

There was a guy in my office who we suspected of being deep in the hobby. The afternoon the Julie's bust went down, he was out of the office and we were sure he got picked up. We even started a fund for his bail.

The fallout from that was pretty significant. NYC police got all the records, and the records were extensive, as to who & when. They were looking for clients who had been with one particular (allegedly underage) provider.
