I do have a (856) area code, which is South Jersey. But I do live in Manhattan (for the past 5 years).
I thought about changing my name and getting a phone with a local number...but, I have so many repeated clients who never check the boards and have my number programmed on their cells as BSNJ, so changing will only cause confusion and loss of business.
Also, under my BSNJ name and number, Goggle has tons of pages about me and it would be a problem to update all.
So, for marketing purposes, not changing anything - but, if a gentleman reads my reviews, most will state that I have a place in Midtown.
I think searching ladies by area codes are useless...either search by services provided or just go to the NYC review board and do a bit of homework, read the reviews of the ones that catches your eye.

The site supports searching by city, so I don't know why you need to use the area code.

And you are never going to find a visiting provider who didn't post an ad.  By the time a review shows up, she is most likely gone.  And if she didn't post an ad anywhere, it's probably because she is booked or not working.

Going to agree with advice above search by city not area code. Lots of providers use disposable prepaid phones or other "soft phones" like Google Voice to forward calls. Those area codes are all over the place.

Sometimes looking at "other areas serviced" will turn up touring ladies, of course it's a bit hit or miss whether they are actually touring and when you're looking.

I appreciate the advice.  

My problem really stemmed from searching for ladies either living in or visiting Upstate NY.  Individual cities are not listed (falls under "Other") so it is difficult.
