Lots more choices in Midtown West without it turning into Times Square (stay in the upper 50s, and there are some good choices there).

UWS is pretty sparse, and it's an area that's filled with families and young kids.  If that's your thing, then do it, but it's hardly a place for hotels.

I have been to two UWS hotels, both across the street from each other, and I can tell you that they are both boutique and small, and that providers who stayed at both hotels were a little unnerved because the hotel staff were quick to ask you to provide a room key if you looked like you were lost.

Not really the ideal situation for providers.

I would have to say that you're right from my research. I generally like the area because i like being near CENTTRAL PARK. Im with you on this. Thanks
