If they did read the boards then a simple ad by a provider would be enough to warrant a bust. You sound like a provider who never gets mentioned when someone puts up a ISO thread and you are trying to discourage us from suggeting other providers. When LE is given a tip they can work off of the tip. They can't just assume that something illegal is going on without any reason.

Perhaps it is my west coast mentality, but it was only a matter of time. I have argued this point with the indies here in NYC and I think the weather will start to shift. Be prepared. The guys in LI can take the LIRR and come on over.

While Indies aren't immune, I think the Johns who sees the well reviewed Indies have the least to worry about, LE wise.
I disagree. Who's to stop LE from contacting a "well reviewed indy" and making a bust(no pun intended) Not all require references, tho they should.

LE is LESS LIKELY going to spend the time of their ENTIRE team to nab 1 person (unless they are receiving complaints). They are more likely to focus on places/areas that have a higher concentration of escorts, johns.....hence agencies (and frequented hotels) are the bigger targets especially the ones that delve into drugs, under age escorts etc..... It's a better collar for them...
because they pissed someone (a madam, provider friend, boyfriend, neighbor, etc) off. the other board has a guide on how to not get arrested. basically it says don't piss anyone off!
it was out of the realm of being possible until I heard about one provider doing it to another in one of our southeast cities.
wheeeeww some of these girls do play rough with each other.
Agree also on staying under the radar, the sharper ones do just that
i never thought i would see an "i told you so" post from nettie, but she is right she has said this many times so i guess under the circmstances an "i told you so" is appropriate 
that they could get an Indy if they wanted, Im just a little shocked it was an out of town girl with such little visability and the low amount of significance it has on the industry in general.
It does make me wonder if she was fingered by another provider or agency.

I know, for sure, how Long Island blue boys works (a very close friend of mine was busted in Suffolk County)
- they have a task force of 6 or 8 boys reading the boards and surfing online for girls and agencies sites to see who is in the area that particular day/night
- the cops read the boards and even post ISO to find out who is available. They know board guys will try to be helpful and suggest this one or that one. And they know some girls will answer the ISO post offering their services. Be careful with these kind of posts by newbies to the boards
- they start to call all the girls available, trying to book an appointment
- they call not once, but many times insisting on a date, they also try to talk about money details on the phone (remember conversations are recorded)
- they don't have preference for visiting or local girls, both are targets and will be called. Is easier to nab visiting girls because they do not know wich hotels are being watched, or are familiar with local laws
- once they get an appointment with a girl, one of the cops will come in, act nervous saying he's married and is his first time and will ask questions about what he needs to do or if he has to PAY you up front and HOW MUCH is it because he's nervous and forgot. Your RED FLAG should be up by now
- when a guy is ACTING nervous and kind of ACTING uneasy and avoiding undressing chances are he is a COP. If he's inside your room just act calm do NOT say anything about website, money, or answer any of his questions. Ask him to leave, say you changed your mind he should go back to his WIFE and do no CHEAT on her. He might insist saying he wants to TALK first, just tell him you don't want to initiate an AFFAIR with a man who is not sure about cheating on his wife and show him the door
- don't be fooled by the tales you heard. If he wants to bust you, he WILL GET NAKED and even play with you until his buddies will start to knock on the door and he will jump out of the bed dressing up quick and bolt to the door to let them inside
- they will search the whole room, take everything from money to condoms to massage oils (now I know why they look for massage oils, because is a bigger felony against the girl)
- they will take the girl to the police station, fingerprint and run her records on their database. If she has a clean record, she gets out on bail and has to go to court to pay a fine. If she has a warranty over her head or was arrested before, she's fried
Now, hints of how NOT to get busted by ANY cops:
- before planning a trip to a different city or state do your homework, contact local girls and ask them where to stay and what to look for. Some girls are very helpful and they will backchannel stuff they you might overlooked
- if nobody does incall in a certain area, there is a reason. The area might have very strict laws and the cops might watch with hawk eyes. Be careful where you set your incalls
- even if your day was slow and you didn't make enough money, do NOT be tempted to book a guy who keeps calling and you cannot verify thru employment or references. Is better to lose 300 hundred bucks than spend 3 thousand with lawyers, fines or, worse, serving time in jail for few months
- do NOT openly post the exact location where you're staying. Some areas only have two or three hotels and is easy for cops to find out where to go
- do NOT circulate on the hotel facilities too much. The less they see you the better. When checking in, try not to look like your pictures in the website, use oversized sweats to hide your body shape, no make up, hair up inside a hat and sunglasses. Disguise yourself
- cops cannot knock on your hotel room door out of the blue. They need a reason for it. Keep low profile and low appointment volume. Screen Screen Screen, if you don't make a date with a cop, there is NO WAY for them to bust you
Girls get busted because they are careless, that's all. Cops not not go after one particular girl, they go after anyone who skip the basic rules of the screening process
In any case, if you get busted do not talk or say anything - tell them you want a lawyer. He will know what to do to get you off
For the worried TER members:
unless you are using an agency that keeps records which will be seized by the cops and used to build a case, the cops are not interested in the indies clients. They are not going to call or summon the guys to appear in court. Is a waste of time for them. The only one with a case is the indie and if she has a good lawyer she will walk out without a record and even get all her stuff back, including the money they took

...they'll just get new methods and procedures. If providers/clients generally have any success at all in avoiding arrest, and LE notices their collars per month getting unacceptably low, they'll just change the procedures and rules.
Not that people shouldn't take every step necessary to protect themselves, the should and they must, but these individual efforts will not be enough in the long run unless attitudes begin to change, and this change is reflected significantly in government at all levels.

yes, they do create FREE accounts, yes they do READ all the boards and yes, they do post ISO too
When my friend got busted, she asked how they found her. Answer? TER. Also she asked WHY her. Answer? She was the "catch of the day", was a random call and she replied to it - They had an ISO post here at the NY board. It was a "who's available? I will be in town" kind of post. Also, the cop who booked her joked and said they don't need to work hard anymore, they just need to log online, surf the boards and get all the information you guys post
I'm a well known provider, Thirsty can verify. I am mentioned a lot here and other places, tons of reviews too. I'm just posting under an alias because I don't want people to connect "me" with the girl who was busted in LI, that's all. She's a very good friend of mine and she wants to keep her problems out of public eyes
When a cop makes a bust he is not going to explain to the provider how he obtained her information. It would be a pretty simple conversation between LE and the provider. LE would tell her why she is getting arrested and then she would be read her rights. Could you see LE telling a provider "Yea. I saw you on TER", and then "Yea, we did an ISO post and some guys suggested you". If LE was reading TER and getting information from here, then why tell providers where the information is coming from? If LE did make a bust from information on TER then they could also bust TER for promoting prostitution. Why was this not done? I have decided either you or your friend are making up stories.
The best line about LE is " they don't need to work hard anymore, they just need to log online, surf the boards and get all the information you guys post". You clearly are a provider who is not getting mentioned in ISO posts or posts in general and you are trying to get the rest of us to stop making suggestions of other providers. you have no idea on what happens to us when we get busted
Cops are horny dogs like any other men and they will say and do things when they are with us in a room or driving to the station
With my friend, this particular cop got undressed and even played with her until his buddies knocked on the door
He got dressed quick before the door was open and they walked in
After she was released on bail he was escorting her out of the building and they were talking reason he mentioned the boards, the posts and her site
Outside the building when she was waiting for her ride she made a comment (joking) she was going to post how good he looked naked
He changed his friendly mood into a menacing one and told her if she posted anything at all he would make her life miserable
You don't know what really happens, you are a GUY and not one of us
The girls reading my posts will understand my point because they know is true specially if they have been busted before
But, is our word against theirs and they will deny deny deny of course

After LE arrested your friend she commented to him how good he looked naked? Your friend must be something else. Your friend was not pissed off that she was busted and now would have a criminal record? Your friend must be some type of saint to act the way she did.
Did the sexy officer bring up TER before or after she complimented him on his appearance?
Im trying to understand something else. The sexy officer was "playing" with your friend and when his friends came knocking on the door he was able to get dressed before anyone saw him naked? Sounds like a case of Superman to me. Your story has too many loop holes in it. Every time you answer one of my posts you add something new to the story.

This is my last post on the subject, not going to go any deeper
You can say whatever you want but like I mentioned before some of the girls reading this knows what I'm talking about
If the website isn't "probably cause" then what would be? What they definitely can't do is illegal search and seizure, that is, they can't raid you and take your property without evidence of a crime, hence the undercover guy goes in first. The raid comes after. The fact is, they wouldn't even make the effort with the undercover guy unless they are pretty sure about what they'll find.
Since most grand juries have been dropping the same stupid acid, LE has the perogative to go into the chamber and lie about it every which way to get an indictment, the grand jury will buy it, and you can't prove that LE did it. If you even make them go through that much trouble because you are fighting the charges on prostitution, then you are screwed with the max sentence, max fine and court costs when they get the conviction, which they will, because petit juries are just as stupidified and awed with authority, too. The main check and balance against police abuse is gone.
For the most part, the only protection for the accused here (if you could call it a "protection") is that most LE still want to arrest and convict only guilty people. It is the sorrow and the pity if you get the exceptional LE person who doesn't care even that much. (That these exceptions are bound to get more common with this system is frightening.) But if they think, or know that you're guilty, many are willing to lie in every way about the investigation and the circumstances of the arrest. Alan Dershowitz proved this with drug arrests as his example. In his book about the OJ trial, he shows beyond any doubt that police are only too willing to do this.
And the temptation for LE to do this is overwhelming. Why would they tell the truth and lose the conviction, when other cops in their department lie and become heros and are never challenged for it? It's much the same as with strippers. The honest ones, the ones that don't hustle the cash from customers, who don't think of their customers as marks, have to watch women who do these things get far richer quicker.
What we have with LE, unfortunately, is a situation where the worst psychopath wins.
In other words, everything Undercover Provider says is true, but she didn't say enough.

Although maybe announcing things on the board all the time is not the best way to do things.
Being an Indy and well reviewed, I think that sometimes b/c'ing those you already know and then they reccomend can be better.
Any thoughts?
What good are Constitutional rights doing us when this is happening?
It was overwritten by the Patriotic act.
New method is in Columbus, Ohio ( may be other places as well ) They want to book a week or two in advance as to not seem eager and red flags to not go up..

A smart girl will NOT post that she was busted using her trade name. Is not good for her business.
That's a stupid move, some guys will be afraid to book her if they know she has been in trouble.
They will be afraid the cops got her records and they will avoid her like a plague.
That's why when you see posts like this usually the girls posting are using aliases to protect their board identities.
