When I was a bit bored and apathetic on a day like today and could post a “hey - who’s around later today on short notice to maybe meet for a quick drink and...” (assuming screening was/is possible). There’s really nowhere left for that is there? One reason I don’t have VIP anymore. It’s a shame that this site doesn’t really serve a purpose in the US anymore.

I know I can do that. The point was that this was just a place where you could throw something out and have conversation (and at times meet people) based on that. In a short amount of time rather than go sit in a bar and randomly deal with that nonsense.
