Hi - Has anyone ever been to the TWA hotel at JFK? I am wondering if I could find interested providers to meet me there for an afternoon before my evening flight to Europe.

I know a few providers that have been okay with traveling to Hotels around JFK. Just ask them. You might have to pay their Uber.

The TWA is a super cute and fun hotel with retro theming and multiple dining and drinking venues. Some of the rooms have amazing views of the airport runway,  you can watch planes go up and land from the comfort of your bed. JFK is a bit of a trek from Manhattan so keep that in mind when looking to book someone. Hope you have a great time in Europe!

The hotel is in the original TWA terminal designed by the famous architect Eero Saarinen and opened in 1962. At that time the airport was named Idlewild. It was renamed JFK the following year after President Kennedy's assassination.

Several family members worked for TWA so we flew from there.  It was def the coolest terminal I had been through.  I was so happy to hear that it was saved and repurposed, because so many things with history in various places are gone.
