Anyone know of any good BDSM/Fetish clubs in NYC?

Most of the scene's events are listed there, and it's a friendly community. A great place to learn and network! Unfortunately, my two favorite events are very private, and I'll get more than a hard caning for revealing them on a public board...but the more friends you make, the more parties you'll get invited to!

I've been to Paddles in the past. It's pretty fun when there's a good amount of people & become friends with Powder - he'll get you in the know about fetish events.

When I was going to clubs like that (sometime well back into last century) Paddles was very definitely an "also-ran" as far as BDSM clubs went.  It was mostly filled with pathetic-looking middle-aged men (guess I would be one of those now--hmm), and maybe one or two hot couples who were actually doing anything fun--and usually at least one of those couples was obviously a provider/client couple and not a lifestyle couple.

All the creepy men would just sort of follow the few women around.  All in all, it generally wasn't a fun place to go.  The better venue was The Hellfire Club/The Vault--although I know that's long since gone.

Is Paddles really worth going to nowadays?  Especially as an unescorted male?
