Take the Airport Line train from the airport to 30th Street Station. From there, take Amtrak to NYC. If you wish to save a few dollars and you have the time, you can take the Septa train to Trenton, NJ and then NJ Transit to Manhattan.

to get from Philly airport to Manhattan.  I will be coming in this Sunday so that might make a difference.

I did get many wonderful gifts in this life.. but direction is NOT one of them. Opposite of my voracious need and reputation for hot wet CRAZAY sex.. I am not a "city tough" kind of girl.  Grew up in very small town in upstate NY and that never really leaves ya.

PM if ya want.

Thank you so much*

For explicit, step by step directions - by car, bus, train -- the HopStop website is user friendly and provides excellent directions with maps of the steps.  Best part is that if you are using mass transit, you provide your exact travel time to get the best possible results.

I have provided the link for directions from Philly Airport to Penn Station in NYC - but use the website for entering your own starting and ending addresses.  Most major cities have HopStop capabilities now.

Finally, TER would not allow me to add the correct Hop Stop website address because it did not conform with TER requirements to precede the address without using http://.  The Hop Stop address uses a "secure" address which is preceded by https:// -- the 's' in https = secure site. So use https:// followed by HopStop dot com and you're in.

Cheers.

Safe travels in coming to our fair city.

You light up NYC that much more when you're in town.
