I've had a life long issue with PE. It comes in waves, the last several months have been challenging. Looking for some hands on support and coaching, in person, in NYC or Brooklyn. Have been trying kegels and breathing exercises on my own recently with no success. Would like help fixing this problem.

Doesn't need to be full service.  Ideas?

Have not. I guess that's a sensible step.  Is a fleshlight the best option?

anything really...FLs are fine but expensive...there are much cheaper and better options available that are damn near close to the real thing...check out lovehoney and bestvibe

and you cannot use any pornography or sexy images while doing it...that will make you finish much faster (speaking from personal experience)

for a similar complaint I had good results with vibrating toys, rather than stroking toys like Fleshlight!!

But I actually like the idea of a hands on sex therapist as well.  Someone who comes in with a little more knowledge, and a lot more empathy for the problem.

I also had a very good experience with one of the Mommy Dom ladies.... When my little guy failed me we were both frustrated, and she asked "what Am I supposed to do now?" (but in a more caring way than it sounds).  She persevered and we had a very successful happy ending!!

I literally just attended a lecture on male pelvic floor last week. Understanding the pelvic floor as a man is such an important thing if you want mind-blowing sex. ( I am a big fan of edging hahahaha)

While kegels are great and breathing exercises too, there are better ways to strengthen your pelvic floor.  
Kegels often miss the bigger picture. They isolate one muscle group without teaching you how to actually use your pelvic floor in real life.  
Focusing on kegels only could even make the issue worse. I would suggest finding someone, who works with you on learning how to use your pelvic floor in general, finding that awareness and strengthening it, not just isolated.  

Also, since it's happening in waves I would be curious to know what your life looked the months prior.
