Bin Laden... dead  

God Bless America!

However, it is still an important moment. For many it serves as some measure of closure to a tragic event.

Yes, the threat of terrorism still exists, but for those that lost loved ones on that fateful day, it should bring about some small amount of solace that justice was served in the name of their loved ones.

God bless the brave men and women of the military that risked their lives or made the ultimate sacrifice in pursuit of this justice.

9-11 was the springdboard event capitalized upon by greedy fearmongers to commit one of the greatest crimes against our people this nation has ever seen. Our most dangerous enemy lies within and is at work undermining the very foundation of our society. Cicero said something along the lines of, "Once a nation is standing at and looking into the abyss of corruption it's far too late". So while everyone is breathing the collective sigh of relief the thieves will continue to run rampantly amok. As for terrorism? It's a perpetual given and there are far more affective ways of dealing with it than conventional warfare.

Yeah...feels pretty good.  The war on terror shall continue....might even get worst in the immediate. But , by God the sick..evil and godless sicko primarily responsible for a mulitipicity of attrosities is explaining himself at the gate forever and no virgins [ yuk anyway] are waiting for him. Celebrate, NY as we shall here [ DC] ..as will all who value decency.

The death of this particular cockroach means that some small measure of justice against the forces of darkness has finally been served.  Yes, the war with radical Islam will continue, but a victory was achieved today...and it is strategic!  

My tears continue to be towards the victims of the 9/11 massacre.  And they always will...  

There are supposedly many photos and I would also assume some videos.
I would assume the Gov't will release some selective photos whenever they feel like shutting up the naysayers.

How is it it takes 7 or so weeks weeks to get DNA tests back state side for the 8 dead girls in NY but under 5 hrs in the field to extract the same info.Does the military have a special petri dish like from the tooth fairy or something? Convienent that his religion requires he be buried at sea within 24 hrs of his death .I guess there will be no exumption then. I wonder why could we not go in bring him here? I am quite sure he could have suffered for his sins better if he was alive .What sufferig is there in death really? There is no suffering in death , no.

I do not believe in an eye for an eye actually so to say he is the wosrt guy in the world ,which he may just be , and then do exactly what we believe he did , how does this make it differnt ? How when we kill is it different if someone else kills ? Is it intent? They had that .. Is it justice , for many i believe they feel that way ..I don't  and so this is another sad day for humanity to me.And the closeure people feel they are going to get maybe if you are wired differently than I am it is closeure . For me it is tearing open a wound and throwing the same discusting disease into the porthole created by the tear..
So now we are for sure all the same, before this we could pretend that as a people we were different .The hate is the poison and they are in the streets drinking it . God Bless the families of all the poor people , children of those people, families and so on that we lost here in NY .It was a day none of us will soon forget , i hope never .

I always have and always will support our military and the sacrifices they make for my freedoms and comfort.I am as are all of us very lucky to live in this great nation . I understand they are doing their job and it would appear a job well done as the mission has been accomplished.

 As unrealistic as it may be i wish the mission had been slightly different . It would have been nice to look at him honeslty I would have liked to look him in the eyes ...Face to face .. It would have been nice if he was not in the sea .....So many people had so many losses both personally and collectively and we get , he's in the drink...
I know a lot of people are happy , but sadly I am not and now i think I will never be happy.

Let's put things in the greater context of reality.

As for "justice", how many gi's have been killed in the ensuing farce where those who had all to gain trumped up the 911 attack as the impetus? The biggest sham of this millennia was conducted with "justice" and the "War against terror" as the excuse. A bunch of immoral profiteers made a shitload of money while the blood of our soldiers ran in the desert. I was there in 1991, no wmd's. These same folks cowed our ignorant masses with so much fearmongering that we've let them marginalize our rights as Americans further establishing the precedence to strip them away as deemed by the government if necessary in the name of "justice". We've been fucked in the ass and this is nothing more than a prison shower reach-around.

Strategically speaking Bin Laden was utterly nullified the day of the attack. I'm sure he knew it. He got his one shot and pulled it. I'm happy to see that Osama has been taken out but only a fool would believe that this changes anything.

But watch out!  I expressed similar sentiments on the P&R board and offended those who think it's cool to celebrate by puffing out your chest in a park and chanting USA! USA!  I am really glad he's gone but it feels less than satisfying.

that most likely Osama died of Kidney failure than a bullet fired by a U.S soldier side arm or M-16. Any photos released recently of Osama like the ones showing Saddam Hussein after he was hanged. The answer is noooooooooooooo.

P.S Last time I checked Ground Zero still had no completed  new tower on the site so is today really a good day to be talking victory when nothing has been re-build yet.

bin Laden was never found and killed during the Bush administration because they didn't want him found. It hampered their agenda.

Glad Osama got what he deserved, but the Obama administration isn't all that much different than Bush when it comes to advancing the interests of corporations who profit from the blood of our GIs. The machine will keep right on running...

Buried at sea so that there is no actual spot for martyers, believers or whatever those scum want to be acknowlegeded as can come and prey or call it sacred ground.  It would be better for world opinion and to place fear into the islamic fanatics to have them viewing of him burning him on a rack of ferns in an undisclosed location so all families of 9/11 victims can see him burn the way their families burned the horror of 9/11.  Thats called closure.
