I've been living in NYC since '96 and I still can't get used to the crazy weather.

I can't wait to move somewhere nice and warm. I think I might need to tour before snowstorm #3.

I had to cancel my plans to meet a lovely lady for drinks tonight...  Let's hope tomorrow doesn't blow too....

Earlier today I was working at the Javits Center and the busses were not running across town to get back to the east side, I sloshed my way (in running shoes) to the Herald Square train stop to get back home. Uuugh! I should have paid closer attention to the news (very early) this morning, As I thought the snowstorm was coming on Wednesday. To quote Homer Simpson... "Doh!"

I've lived in NYC for 23 years now and this sure as shit is a yucky winter. Can't wait until Spring when my allergies will go berzerk! but at least I'll be comfortable.

Thankful I can have the day off from my day job and snuggle up on my couch with a good book! And then later... keeping things heated up in a different way *wink*

This year is unusually harsh, but it's always cold here in Jan., and snow storms are always possible.  Goes with the territory.  Sorry if it's affecting your visit...I would just go about my business normally as best you can.
