I had this experience just yesterday.  I ran into a lady that I had seen several times.  She was with another gentleman and I didn't know if she was on an appointment or not.

I am sure she saw me as we walked right past each other.  We did not acknowledge each other.

I must admit it did throw me for a second.

I am sure this has happened to others, both guys and woman.  Other experiences....
