Los Angeles voters passed a ballot measure requiring condom use on adult-movie sets.
Hollywood porn titans are threatening to pull out of Los Angeles County after voters there rubber stamped a ballot measure Tuesday requiring condom use on adult-movie sets.

The referendum scored 56 percent in Tuesday's vote, officials said — but the victory could quickly go soft as industry vets say they’ll just start making movie magic in neighboring counties.

“People think they’re doing performers a favor, but the performers don’t want it,” a smut  superstar  told the Daily News from the set of a porn film in Ventura County Wednesday.

“They’ve studied this, and people don’t want to see rubbers in porn. They say it ruins the fantasy,” he claimed. “You can’t make a film with rubbers, dental dams and white gloves and think it will sell against a European product that’s natural, hardcore sex.”

The referendum requires producers to purchase public health permits and face fines and misdemeanor charges if condoms aren’t employed. But Jeremy questioned how it would be enforced.

“I have a hard time picturing a cop on set saying, ‘Excuse me, I need to inspect your penis,’” the New York native said.

He said the business already polices itself with age regulations and mandatory monthly testing for HIV, gonorrhea and chlamydia.

Proponents of the measure said it’s necessary to protect public health. The law mirrors an earlier law passed earlier this year by the city of Los Angeles. A dominant portion of porn is handcrafted outside the city limits, but inside the county.

“Tuesday was a really a great day for safer sex,” said an executive director of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation and the measure’s primary supporter, told The News. “Millions of Angelinos voted resoundingly to protect health and safety.”

Opponents, meanwhile, vowed a legal fight Wednesday and asked the Los Angeles County Supervisors to suspend implementation until the law’s constitutionality is affirmed.

BBFS does not refer to sex in general, It's hobby specific. It's not called BBFS when you fuck your wife without a condom, and it's not called BBFS in porn.

This ban is useless.  All it will do is move the Porn industry from LA to Vegas, or maybe back here to the East Coast.
