Two attacks barely 10 days ago.  Also, Craigslist still being used.  Hotels named.

Part of the screening process of a TER hobbyist is for the provider to insist that the alleged hobbyist is in fact who he says he is. So that means the provider should simply request that the hobbyist send a  PM to  the provider which will minimize the likelihood that the alleged hobbyist is not misrepresenting his identity. As the old axiom says"You can't be too smart, you just have to be lucky".... But better to be safe than sorry.

No, you can't.

I hate to see shit like this happen, but something doesn't sound right to me even for CL providers.  These thugs weren't on any site that verifies hobbyists ... I can guarantee you that.  So why take a chance?

I've always been thoroughly checked-out by every provider I've seen.  Usually my Date-Check ID plus one reference and my cell #.

It works both ways, I know who I'm seeing and visa versa.

There's no way those two young punks were verified by any reliable source.  If you're going to invite anyone into your room that calls, then sorry that's really dumb.

I'm always surprised when guys with no reviews -- or worse, use an alias -- to post things like, "Which provider is best at [some service or another] and established providers respond to them.

Simply put, reviews are what establish bona fides, and if someone don't have them or uses an alias, how the hell does anyone here know who they're dealing with?  Those are the times, IMHO, when things like this can happen.

Bottom line -- guys, before you post here looking for info, get a review or two to your name first so anyone -- lady or gent -- knows you're for real here.  And don't use aliases for that sort of post.  Ladies, in the nicest possible way -- maybe think twice about answering posts for guys with no review of aliases?
