and it's not just in the hobby that it happens.

I have to agree that the women and the men have about equal recourse where it comes to NCNS. Neither can really do a lot about it except to warn their peers, and maybe rant about it a bit on their regional board.

There really should be a place where both the guys and the girls can report chronic no shows, but the subject has beaten to death with no solution in sight.

...Be a provider talking about a client NCNS, in which case I'm not certain how that info would be useful, but I'm guessing.

post using an alias on regional board, "pm me for details." No excuse on either side for NCNS. Yeah I know emergencies and all that but really, how often does one have an emergency so critical that it precludes taking 30 seconds to fire off a text or email. For the record I've only been NCNS'd once so I don't have an axe to grind here other than it's a pet peeve, in or out of the hobby. Common courtesy really.

What I've seen recently is several posts identifying a provider for being a NCNS because TER doesn't allow a person to submit a review when this situation happens.  

What recourse does a provider have if you think about it?  They might not have the person's handle and they certainly aren't going to publish a name.  So what option do they have except to blacklist them and maybe share that info with other ladies they may know in their close circle.  I really cant think of any others.  

Just my .02 on the matter

they usually don't have any recourse other than to share information, and they should. NCNS hobbyists hurt the rest of us, maybe I wanted that time and it's used up by someone who's dicking around. Now she's fucked and so am I (or more to the point, neither of us are).

There is such places to report conic no shows, that is searchable just not on TER.
