Geesh..You guys got hit hard. DC...nothing compared to you. I personally had no power until this afternoon so just seeing the pics & reports. And OMG ! Totally unbelievable
I know alot of people who lost cars, and homes. The Jersey Shore is basically gone. The ocean went throught the entire Battary Tunnel and out into Brooklyn. Midtown also closed. Many will not have power back for more than 2 weeks! I lived in NY for my entire life. Never saw anything like this before. Staten Island is out of gas! It is mayhem. Gotta hang up my hobby hat for a while. Pull my sleves up, and help.
