You beat me to the punch on creating this very same thread.
I had the same exact issue with Asian Bea. We had established a 2-hour meeting in which she confirmed her location. The night before, she asked if we could meet an hour earlier, to which I agreed. As the time drew near, I sent her e-mails and texts, with no response. Eventually, I realized that we weren't going to meet. The next day, I sent her an e-mail asking if everything was okay and what happened? Again, no response.
Like you, I politely decided to wait for a week or so to see if she responded. To date, nothing. While I won't completely discount that there was some emergency that occurred, I am inclined to believe that she simply got a longer term engagement, like an overnighter, and summarily blew off her already established meetings.
I don't know if it's appropriate to list other competing websites, so I won't. However, if you Google "Asian Bea Unicorn", you will find that our experiences are not unique.
I have had ladies cancel on me twice before, both of which offered their sincere apologies and asked if we could meet sometime in the future. Similarly, I have cancelled twice on different ladies (i.e., the flu, broken ribs!) and e-mailed as soon as I knew I had to cancel. It's not just the professional thing to do. It's the right thing to do.
Steer clear.
