hey I'm so confused. Previously when I tried to login to my TER it didn't work.. Now I'm here.. What is this lmao?! Are we back up and running?!

I am at a US location accessing this site through my friends VPN network - I tried to post reviews - have dozens to post - but even though I can access my account - now "basic" because I didn't post for a year  - It does not let me post info on the US providers meaning  I cant link to US websites that may still be running and I cant choose any city based in the US to fill out the review so ???

The issues you mention are all related to FOSTA SESTA. Search the General Board (going back over a year) or google for either or both of those terms. They are new laws that promise harsh penalties for anything LE can twist or turn or remotely connect to sex trafficking. To date, I don't that there has been a single prosecution based on trafficking, even though there have been some prostitution busts.

As a result, TER has removed internet access to US IP addresses, hence the need to use a VPN with a non-US ID. TER has removed Profiles of any Provider with a US base city.  Many relocated to non-US cities, e.g., Toronto or London or elsewhere. And that is also why you can't add to an old Profile or create a new Profile with a US city as home base.
.
It's kind of a minor point, but there used to be a time limit to post a review ... I don't even remember what it is ... 90 days? If you visit someone on Jun 1, you have until Sep 1 to post a review. That is to say, your dozens of pending reviews must extend back to adventures no more than 90 days old, technically speaking. (But who's counting?)
.
Although the rest of us won't benefit from or enjoy reading your recent reviews, at least you will be able to enjoy the memories.

Once upon a time, the internet was free, and open.  Now, thanks to the federal government, and their allies in Silicon Valley, the days of unrestricted freedom on the 'Net are over.  It was good while it lasted.
