Suggested new rule to reduce fake reviews:

TER loves to enforce stringent rules, and normally I wouldn't suggest new rules, but I'm sick of reading fake reviews.  Here's my suggestion:

Reject all provider first reviews by first-time reviewers.  There is a plague of fake AMP reviews from first-time reviewers.

After this, only accept ONE first-time review if a provider already has ANOTHER review from a multi-review hobbyist.  Of course, you cannot determine scientifically if a review is real.  However, you can require a 50% quotient of reliable reviews from multi-review hobbyists.

more often fake than NOT, and are usually posted by Mamasan.

You are making a huge mistake if you just rule out the AMP experience altogether.  Many hobbyists have had fantastic AMP sessions, and you have to admit $$ is a good deal for FS.

The problem for me is, while with the usual AMP provider the mamasan assigns to you pot-luck style you can count on a decent enough 6 or 7 rated nut-off, hunting down the truly 9 and 10 rated AMP providers is made difficult by mamasan fake review scams.  That's why imposing this new rule would be helpful.

BTW, you find some white providers who post fake reviews, too, and this new rule could cut down on that problem.

Can you name a few of your favorite joints? I heard good things about Choice Asian, but I can't find any web site for the place now.

If you can send me private email on any good recommendations, I would be appreciated.  New to NYC (midtown area) and too many of the reviews I have seen (one on Upper East as an example) are making me skeptical.  Any help would be appreciated.
