It's not surprising that this occurs in this hobby of ours, especially given the amount of time and money some of us spend on it.

It's no different in that manner than, say, work, where you spend most of your adult life.

Over the course of a about 7 months now I have gotten to know a woman who travels to NY several times a year for work. We have hit it off and have gone out now a number of times after she finishes work to have dinner and hang out (e.g., go to a club). In the interim periods we text, share music, etc. just like I do with other people with whom I am friends.

Recently I traveled to her home city for business. We got together while I was there and then, as we arranged before my trip, went away for a weekend together. We had a great time. We have very similar personalities and like doing the same things.

She's beautiful, sweet, sexy, responsible, etc....

Here's the thing - I actually MISS her... for me at least, you form a connection with someone when you spend quality time together. I can say I have gotten to know her pretty well and like who she is... now here's the tough part - while part of me keeps thinking that it was WORK for her, part of me wants to believe she actually likes me too...(as she says she does). Hard to differentiate the true from the false in these situations.... I guess more will be revealed...
