"sponging off of the members that have diligently and loyally supported TER"

members who minded being "sponged" wouldnt post anything in the free access part of the site.  they would simply post all their reviews in the "juicy details" part.

the original poster of the string's discussion was simply wondering out loud why such obvious comments as "i met her" were the only parts posted on so many publically-accessible reviews.

sure, TER is a for profit site, and that's fine.  the language and tone of the editor's reply is unfortunate, i think.

will this message find its way to the board?

I pay or post reviews for VIP access to TER. Why!!! would I want something given away for free, that I have paid good money for. I have either paid the provider or paid for my subscription. Yet you want it all given away for free. Remember you get exactly what you pay for.

The tone of the moderators reply was as if he was speaking to a wayward child. Which in a figurative sense I think he was.
