Maybe it's just the end-of-summer / back-to-school vibe, or the occurrence of Fashion Week, or the going on of other goings-on, or the fact that I'm officially 15 days "sober" right now, but I must say:  

- NYC is FLUSH with insanely attractive independent talent. Just poppin' off the stove top.
- Pricing is largely rational across the board, even at the upper end of available appearance/performance. Bargains even.
- Hot new entrants everywhere. Aggressive ones. The Eye Roll / Toe Curl / Lip Bite Types.  

Frankly, I'm having a hard time....having a hard time.

But I suspect that won't last too much longer.
