It's so quiet here...no ball breaking, no whinning, no name calling...wtf?

BTW...the Yankees Suck! and...well you know what Jeter does.

Hey it says so on the back of every third tee shirt in Boston. ;)

Thirty,

Jeter does suck but look at his "fee"!!

I have "meet" all the Boston Red Socks Starters" & that is why they won the "Big Dance"!!

That is all the ball busting till tonight :-) !!

Well I may not look like thirty but I feel like thirty anyway.

I'm going to pay for a 2 hour session with this provider. Let me know when your on LI. ; )

What?

Thanks but I don't see providers. Even meeting them for dinner is a bad idea. :(

Sad to think your sex life has become so small. We thought better than that. Move it onward so we can have the rest of you.
Speedy recovery, I want the next tab. You are far from MILF-dome (done) for me.
Can't wait. See you next week.

I think it's all pretty predictable.  Back when there was the whole controversy about Jason, anybody who posted about it seemed to be met with a constant barrage of "drop it," "let's move on," "I'm sick of this," etc.  IMHO, this board has evolved into being primarily a place where a relatively few hobbyists chat with one another and a relatively few providers, saying cutesy little things to one another in code and congratulating one another on how much they enjoy chatting with and seeing one another.  Posts on other subjects are generally met with either benign neglect or, if controversial, some level of hostility.  Oh, I forgot, a few references to farting always seem to be present, too.

In a word:  BOOORRRRRING!!!

Anyone who doesn't follow the culture is told -- politely or otherwise -- they're not welcome (as if the sheer volume of of one's posts somehow entitles him or her to some kind of ownership status).  You'll see what I mean by the responses this post gets.  Either posters will largely ignore it, or go to great lengths to say how culturally stimulating and informative the board is (as if saying it can make it so)!  One or more posters will then invariably ask me that if I find it boring, why am I here?  Answer:  Because it wasn't always so and hope springs eternal!  And then someone, all too predictably, will suggest posts such as this and those who post them are not welcome.

Just remember:  thirsty asked!

I'd like to think that this is not the case since I've come back. I agree that a small group of posters fill the board but they don't control the board. Part of the reason for my post yesterday was to say, "Okay, this is getting boring. Let's get some other people involved."

However, all (actually I think it's 'alls' in NY ;) I can do is invite you to join in. You basically have to make your own space. I encourage everyone to speak up. I'm not going to let somebody shout you down. On the other hand, I'm not going to arbitrarily decide that somebody else posts too much and tell them to shut up.
