Interesting point: Have you noticed that a lot of providers are screening using the basis of their investigation THEIR safety.  What about YOUR safety?

They request your work e mail, your work telephone number, your full name, first and last, then upon meeting they want to see your drivers license.

Any FOOL that supplies any of the above information especially producing ID upon meeting is asking to be a victim.  Losing your job, your family, your assets, your reputation your identity.

With that information and $3.95 p/mo they can go to Spokeo and access your home address, family, relatives, career licensing, NPI #, state board licensing #, DOB and then easily your social sec # and you have now lost your identity and will spend years trying to recover your life, home, family, if ever.

Look at Sen. Mendez, played outside of the country and he is now defending his family, life, reputation and career. He is now open to extortion, blackmail, fraud etc.

So when a provider asks for any personal information, remind her you are a consumer and will not be a victim and turn and walk away quickly.  Run away.

If you are thinking with your little head and give any information to get into the room and then she requests ID, ask for HER US passport as ID to prove who she really is (we are all not smart enough to tell a fake foreign passport from a real one).  A drivers lic on the part of any younger person can be bought over the counter as fake ID for them to get into places when they were under 21 and the expiration dates on these items are usually 10 years.  Passports are very hard to fake so no one really attempts it.  Bet she refuses and you just got your answer.  You are not a consumer you are a targeted victim.

Point being, dont be a victim, be a consumer.  The claim for their safety is total bullshit, anyone, even a CEO can be a lunatic and is out to hurt them.  Having your name to identify you is just the point, identify you and open you up to extortion, blackmail etc. If you have their true name is that going to help you if you are attacked, robbed etc- you will not go to the police and say I was patronizing a prostitute (admission of a  crime) and she robbed me, they will request you to ID her if caught, witness for a trial and then you lose everything in that forum.  The business has slowed to the point that they cannot let a "mark" or "consumer" get away if they are to cover their expenses.  Girls seeing 3-5 daily are seeing maybe 1 a day.  No one is spending. A lot of the out of the US providers see this as an easy way to earn a living by blackmail or selling your information to ID thieves.  It is a way of life in Eastern Euro, they destroyed their country now they are out to destroy ours. They are in an illegal business and with that business model comes risk.  They must accept the risks to reap the rewards. Let them contact other providers who the person has seen in the past and took the risk to reap the rewards and trust what they say.  If not, they should not be in the business.  Basic screening, asking: first name, age, race, ht, wt, general description and speaking to the person for more than 30 secs.  They have to have a skill to weed out the losers just by voice and the inflection of how they answer the questions. A trained telemarketer, sales person knows immediately I the person is real or not, they need that same skill before they drop their panties.

The saying, those with the gold make the rules, we have the gold in the form of green currency.  So we set the parameters and decide that we are not dancing to the tune of hard line screening.  Ask your colleagues, if you dont trust your colleagues then prey on the very few suckers who will give you the information you request and live your life on that new lower median income scale.

No one should ever give out any information to a person conducting an illegal business if you dont want to get caught upin their problems or have problems of your own through ID theft, family, residence, career etc.

Look how cheap it is to find out everything, just based on a first and last name and general town and age or through your occupations professional listing and credentialing sites.  If you are licensed, then the NYS Dept of State has you listed via first and last name ie: CPA, MD, Pharm, Nurse, RE Broker etc. and from that they go to Spokeo.com for monthly $3.95 and find you quickly along with family names, children, ages, wife, residence, DOB, income, home value, home pic, cars, boats and you are cleaned out through ID theft, extortion, blackmail and/or divorce.

Prime purveyors of these scams are the Eastern Euro who have flooded the nation working as call girls, just look at the ads - reputable agencies who are not going to be mentioned because they cover the screening in a discreet non threatening way are hiring these Eastern Euro in bulk - WHY? They have scammed our govt to allow them in, provide them with housing, all under false names, food, medical care and education (thats why people are printed when they now receive benefits against the protests of the liberals so its one and done - remember they never contributed a dime to the tax base that they seek support from-off the planes to the govt offices).

It is VERY different.  A bank is a legal business with security measures in place and laws that govern them, same with a job screening or you hiring an au pair legally or a doctor etc.

Store keepers dont screen customers before they walk into their store and how do they know they will not be robbed or killed? Merchants work alone in jewelry or boutiques and they are usually women.  Its the nature of the business.

You ladies just dont get it, you are in an illegal business with no way for us to track you and you dont deserve our information. You all use alias names, lie about all information we request. How do we know that you will not commit a crime against us, providing is an anonymous business and it should stay that way.  I am sure you all know fellow providers who pass along diseases without a care in the world (not deadly diseases just a messenger for life disease).  Where are our assurances for our safety.

Business is risk, accept the risks, rely on your networks and turn the roadway into two way, produce your passports fopr us to verify you and I am sure you wil lthen get our information.

I think you've set up a false reality.  I've never heard of any provider ask for the kind of personal info you want.  And I can't imagine anyone giving it to a provider to begin with.  I've had only a few providers ask me for my real name and they were very well established and with lots to lose if they misused the info.  
You've also left out that personal safety is a legitimate concern of working girls.  They are subject to assault, rape, theft, stalking and outing.  Most of them have a lot to lose from the latter because they have other jobs as well as families, so the info they have is insurance of their safety and privacy.
It sounds like you've been burned and, if so, I'm sorry it happened to you.  But I don't see why anyone would give passport info and work email info to a provider.  Just sign up for P411 and/or Date-Check, have three good references who are TER girls and you won't have a problem.  And if anyone asks you for more info than that, just say "no" and move on.  There are plenty of fish in the sea.

You have a point that I'm sure resonates with a lot of people. But you are detracting from your credibility with your attacks here, as well as some far-fetched statements (we should be able to tell when a guy is creepy?? Why not just give references? If a girl asks for more info and you aren't comfortable, move on. Simple as that.

My statement was: If they are requesting a persons real name, age etc they have the ability to look you up on Spokeo and get all other info, Google is another easy source (all girls and guys Google their civilian dates to see if they are worthy-welcome to the new world).  I also said that if they want our info, let them supply us with their info via passport.

I was asked for personal information beyond references from established providers.  I refused but at that point they had my last name and profession where additional info can be found thru licensing agencies that contain age, address, and other personal info-step to stage two she then can go to Spokeo get family names, relatives, pics of home to determine what she can extort and how far to push.

I walked quickly refusing to proceed and then the threats came. If they continue I will proceed legally since it very easy to locate the person, ads has pics, and all drivers lic, govt benefits, passports etc are digitized and its easy on face recognition software t get name, addy etc.

No one should ever have to face this problem.

As I also said, biz is slow so some mostly eastern Euro trash providers are seeking other means to make up lost income and thats extortion, payoffs, threats.

I have seen some top notch providers and they never even considered this approach to make extra income.

Some have morals, some are just tough Euro trash thieves who have entered the biz for a quick score. Stick with the American girls avoid the Euros.

OK, now you are coming clean.  You already had given her more than you should have and ran into some bad people.  That's a shame and people can learn from your mistake.

Are you serious? You dont think a man is LESS likely to attack a woman if she possesses his personal info? Now, I am all for giving the least amount of personal info as I can, and in a lot of cases I have walked away from a providers too intrusive requests for that type of info, but that is a totally different issue then saying the ladies claim for safety in asking for that info is bullshit. I love these sort of posts because everyone gets mad and I sit here and stew over the real QUESTION at the center of the post. What about YOUR safety?

It is your responsibility to take the steps you feel comfortable with in order to "stay safe". When you contact a provider, make an appt, and follow through, you are accepting the responsibility and risks associated with said action, are you not?

So, that being said, I will summarize some ways for you to increase your safety while participating in this hobby... because doing it your way could very quickly extinguish your flame with the ladies.

1) Do not see ladies without reviews. Why? Because they do not have any ounce of safety to their names. They could be men, robbers, rapists!, etc. If you see these ladies, you are taking your safety level to defcon5 and might get lucky, or might get FUCKED. That is your choice, your responsibility, your risk, and your loss.

2) Do not see ladies that ask for too much info, if you aren't comfortable. Why? Because you aren't comfortable. It makes me uncomfortable when a guy doesn't leave my gift up front, because it makes me uncomfortable the entire time, wondering if he will stiff me or not. So I do not allow that to happen, I always get my gift up front and proceed comfortably. If someone asks for too much info, find someone who asks for less.

3) Find a positive reference and use her so you do not have to provide too much information. Why? This keeps you comfortable. I think it speaks for itself.

4) Some ladies (myself included) will allow you to see the birthdate on her ID so you can verify she is over 18. I will cover the name and address, I have had stalker problems and will never compromise my information again, especially to a strange hobbyist.

5) Ask a woman about her security measures. I don't know if any women really answer this question, but I do. I do not save phone numbers, and my email is hushmail (encrypted, based in Canada). I have a secure private IP address and keep a low profile in the community. I have plenty of reviews and that will speak for themselves when it comes to discretion - those men trust me, have not had an experience as you have described, and are willing to vouch via review for it. If a woman tells you she saves all your info, you probably shouldn't see her. Then again, she might be lying, but that is a risk you take when you entertain the idea.
