I just talked with a touring provider who cleaned house last time she was here.  This time...she was very disappointed in the turnout.  I won't name her, because why would I want to disclose who she is?  I don't want the cheapskates to come out and try to bargain with her.  But I can tell you that she said it was a lot tougher this time, and not nearly as profitable.

New York City is the best place on planet Earth for a girl to work. This is not because New York johns are the best looking guys around. It's not because we're the nicest either. It's because there is nowhere else which has the same combination of low scrutiny by LE and high return. It beats Miami, LA, London, and anywhere else by wide margins. Am I worng?

Hotel costs are exorbitant, and clients are busy so they can cancel at the last minute.  Also, there are lots and lots of hot girls here.

Girls here do a better job in Stamford or in NJ than they do in NYC, often times, because of the cost structure and competition here.

In 2006 they were killing it.  Not so much now, according to the ones I've been speaking with.

Of course, there are outliers, too.

represent a tiny sliver of the girls who visit NYC.  Yes there are "lots and lots of hot girls" in New York but there are also "lots and lots" of clients.  I'd like to see you stop making these attempts at market analysis.  You don't have enough knowledge or information.

Yeah a lot of the visiting ladies have it very hard when they come!  No one has noticed that the amount of visiting ladies from 2 years ago has decreased depressingly.  I am all for the use of local ladies but variety is an essential party of this community.  Locals traveling need the visiting just as much....etc.

They say.... 2014 it will change... I should be 25 by then...

make providing in NYC a difficult proposition. The expenses (hotels, flights, food, travel, incidentals) are higher in NYC than anywhere, and many Hobbyists income is stagnant or has gone down.  Only the top 10 percentile of providers do well in NYC.  And Octavia is right that less girls are touring here not more. Biz sucks for most girls.

Please link us to the studies you've conducted - The ones that conclude what percentage of providers are doing "well."  I can't just take your word that "biz sucks for most girls."  So far you've only demonstrated an inability to understand when the last economic depression began, and that wages have been stagnant for decades.  Your credentials on this subject suck.

I talk to and see a lot more girls than you ever ever  will.  Biz is shitty for all but the top girls. They're Obama depression proof.  The rest are struggling, and way less  girls are touring here.  You haven't noticed the huge discounts to entice business?  Extra time in sessions offers?  Haven't noticed less touring girls?   Haven't noticed more uncovered services to entice business?  You live under a fucking rock?

I point out how absurd it us to use anecdotes to draw the conclusions you did, and you just reply with more anecdotes?  You're simply too stupid to debate me on this.

I might try Manhattan or something one day lol if I slap on another 100 to my rates mainly because of hotel costs haha. The 3.5* hotel I was in around Stamford was 100 with tax per night...i'm sure it's easily double for the same standard in the best parts of NYC.

You have your head in the sand or up your ass.  Any moron can read the Provider ads and see business is bad. Provider discounts are not anecdotes. Free time is not anecdotes. Less touring ads on Eros and TER is not anecdotes.  Uncovered sex offers everywhere is not anecdotes. If you talks to scores of top girls, and agencies, and touring girls like I do, and see a few girls a week, then you'll know that your posts are pure ignorance.

I'm just speaking from my experience.  You might be surprised at how many providers I know and talk to.

And never would I speak for any other provider, because it's YOUR experience.

But as far as a sample size...probably 10 to 15 visiting providers and probably 30 local providers.

I just gave one example of a touring provider that just left.

Another provider that comes here nearly every month from Florida who charges in the $300 range and is well worth it said that the last few trips have been so bad she is happy to just cover her room charges.

There are lots of local girls here who are also offering specials to their existing clientele in order to keep business up.  I have gotten lots of discounts and specials offered to me by girls who are simply not seeing as much business.

Is that across the board?  Not necessarily.  But it is the case with my sample, which runs the gamut from $200/hour bodyrub girls to $500+/hour escorts.

Hilarious.  You don't even know what anecdotes are...so I don't really expect you to understand the absurdity of using those anecdotes to argue that business is bad for 90% of providers.

Lol where the hell are you getting anger?  If you're that prone to exaggeration, it kind underscores the problem with your lame observations, doesn't it?  

I made no argument one way or another about how most girls in the business are doing right now.  I *did* say it's asinine to use one's very limited interactions as commentary on a larger reality.  You could talk to 5 different providers every day for 2 months, and it still wouldn't be enough to have a clue about what's happening with a significant portion of New York City escorts.  I'm surprised that someone who made it beyond the 5th grade would struggle with that very basic mathematical concept.

You're replying to all of my posts and pretty much repeating yourself whenever you do.  It accomplishes nothing.

By far the best city! The most beautiful women for the most reasonable rates.  They some of the best fashion sense in the world and are quite sexual. LE is not a problem north of the boarder.

So I can tell you that by experience and thanks to my regulars, I can make big money in short time.  
I haven't post and Eros ad in years... But that's because my regulars adore me!!! So, I'm not sure my opinion really counts...

Now if you ask me what's the best city from our perspective, I would have to say DC!!!   I've heard touring ladies do pretty good and for the locals, our regulars are always faithful and considerate.

But that's just my oppinnion from own experience... I'm sure is not the same for everyone...

There ARE SOME HOBBYIST WHO ARE ALWAYS FORSURE ON A APPT, HARDLY CANCELS, SO THEY DO NOT MIND DOING IT.... DIFFERENT STROKES FOR DIFFERENT FOLKS.

Without it, they do not get on my calendar. Period.  I've been doing this for years now and am rather happy with how this (and other) policies have helped shape my business.

Just because you may choose not to does not mean that it is an uncommon practice for others.
