If she's going to be here next week, it's more likely that you contacting her now vs. weeks ago will get a positive response. I'd give her another try...
I wanted to ask the providers and hobbyists opinions about my dilemma. I sent my information for clearance as requested a little more than two weeks ago to a traveling provider who comes to town next week. She is well established with excellent reviews over a few years. The information was sent via email and I also sent a PM here. She does not list a phone and contact is through email only. I'm a little baffled as I have not heard a thing from her or perhaps a representative. She has posted on the ad board so I know that she is around. I just thought I would hear something - whether there was a problem with a reference or I was not approved, etc. feeling a little exposed. Just curious how providers handle their traveling schedule and clearances and the time frame with which it is done. And maybe hobbyists can suggest an alternative, what worked for them, etc. Thanks to all.

Such as what Sindee suggested. Of course, it also could be she read your reviews and didn't like something you wrote. Or she found out something, true or not, back channel. Or something about the way you wrote your email put her off. Impossible to know. If any of the above were true she could easily have decided it was just simpler not responding than telling you something that might upset you. It happens. So either do as Sindee suggests or just move on.
Keeping in mind that NY is a hobbyist paradise you might just want to move on. But if you are really hot to see this lady you might send another email and include a statement like "On Sept ** I sent the info per your protocal in hopes we could arrange a little rendezvous. I know you [ or asst] get tons of emails [ probably most are time wasters] and it can be hard to keep up. But I want to assure you my inquiry was serious . I would love to meet ya. I'll not make any other plans for next week unless I don't hear from you by ****. Hope we can make it happen."
