I prefer email over PM's as TER is not as secure and private a forum as independent email accounts. Also, I don't like to answer all of  the website booking questions whereas my email is limited to the information I wish to disclose. I have never had a provider ask to use her website booking questions since my emails contain all relevant information required for pre-screening. In fact, I include a copy and pasting of my white list referrals.
