Hi New York!  I'll be coming back to my hometown this coming weekend and I find myself wanting to revisit the dance club scene.  I realize I might regret that when I show up and see how crowded the place is and I feel how cold it is standing in line (LA has done a number on my ability to tolerate the cold), but I'm feeling a little nostalgic and I'd like to give it a whirl while I'm there.  The problem is, the last time I lived in New York, the hot spots were Webster Hall, Tunnel, and Exit...they're all gone now and I have no idea what's cool nowadays.

What I'm looking for is just a little list of the better places to go.  I like a place that would play something a little faster, like Dubstep...definitely not a chill lounge environment because I'm interested in going there to dance.  I'm not opposed to going to Brooklyn either.

I did a lot of searching on other sites, including Yelp, and I didn't find much.  I'd love to hear from you if you have any suggestions on places where the music is awesome and there is room to dance.
