So here’s a nugget you can share with your Valentine or file away for later trysts:  Want a quiet place in midtown to make out a little? Go right into 630 Fifth Ave and straight up the escalator.  There’s a balcony lounge (not a bar, just a lounge) with nice sofas and tables.  Great for a break and a few kisses.  And also good if you need a quiet place for a phone call.

Someone complained that this board had gotten boring.  Really?

You know, many of us are in the greatest city in the world so you can’t let yourself be bored!  You have stuff to do!

Specifically, Gentlemen  – what will you get your favorite provider here for Valentine’s Day?  A small gift will bring out the best in both of you!

Of course, you’re probably thinking perfume or jewelry – and you can’t go wrong at Saks or Tiffany’s etc. (Cartier for me, pls).   But why not be exciting and take her to Le Labo in Nolita where she can have a fragrance custom made, and they will put her name on it!  That’s fun!  If you’re willing to give a “useful” gift, think about a gigantic bottle of high quality body lotion like Kiehl’s.  And anything from Wolford’s on Madison Avenue makes me feel warm and frisky – or maybe it’s just the thought of a man alone, shopping in a lingerie store, lol.  And for a sweet, small gift in this really cold winter, get her some re-chargeable hand warmers.  Check out Amazon. Some are really cute.  I have kitty-cat warmers.

What are your Valentine gift ideas?  Don’t be boring!

Xoxo

Some years ago, it was unseasonably warm on Valentine's Day -- in the lower 60s.  I was walking my date through Bryant Park on our way to a fine restaurant on the other side of 42nd Street.

Suddenly we found ourselves surrounded by ...... jugglers!  They were everywhere, juggling bowling pins, bean bags, bottles and balls.  All ages, men and women, all juggling.   My date, who was in burlesque when she wasn't providing, fell in love with it.

Even though they offered juggling lessons free in the park, she wanted, and I got her, private lessons for Valentine's day.   She was thrilled.

Damn, I got lucky!

Oh that is so fun and different! Love this

Good work Jenny - spice this up a little.
I was gonna go boring and just get flowers but now you making me want to up my game a little.
Juggling is a good one, albeit a tad selfish no?   Don’t we all love a lady who can juggle balls…..
