I once saw Andrew Zimmernm eat it on his show Bizzare Foods, and he explained that it's not that it's really dangerous, it's just that if it's not prepared properly - that's when it can be deadly. And it's a very tricky thing to prepare fugu properly.
The traditional risk comes from eating wild fugu fish from the sea. The toxin potentially found in fugu, tetrodotoxin, is super poisonous. It ends up in the Fugu because the fish consumes things like plants with the toxin. It ends up in the liver, eyes, and ovaries. The art of Japanese chefs is knowing how to remove the poisonous organ. But if you eat wild fugu prepared by an idiot, you could die.
The risk is negated by eating farm raised fugu. Like running the bulls of pamplona with hornless calves. If you like to eat the liver, which is considered a delicacy, this is the safe way to do it. Livers are hard to come by outside the black market no matter what.

I use to make list in the past lists such as short term goals, one year, five year, 20 year.... and I longer do so. Over the years I've found out that so many have lived vicariously through my past deeds, escapades, and lifestyle that when I became a father I had to redefine and set a new standard.
If I were to have a bucket list it would be that my daughters be always healthy, happy and always feel blessed for what they have. I think I'm working on their bucket lists now.
