I'd read about TBM's mixer since re-entering this world a year ago but was unable to attend the last one. I'd heard about poor attendance from the guys so I'm not surprised by this. All I can say is I wish I'd known or I'd have jumped on a plane! Please, TBM, change your mind!
I think it's time for a change. A new host, new venues and new ideas.
Having done 13 M&G's in NY since 2007, I think it's time for me to step down and let someone else take the reigns. My last two events were under attended and I can only blame the economy so much. The no show rates exceeded the average rate by 20%. To me that is a subtle hint that the community has lost some excitement in attending my parties.
Through the years I have never complained about no shows and have always accepted that there are always valid reasons. Ladies get extended sessions, and have family matters. Gentlemen also have family matters and work issues, so I never complained on the boards or even in private to anyone about not showing up.
This is difficult for me to write as I have really enjoyed putting the Mixers together for all of these years. It is a tremendous amount of work and some decisions are not always easy to make. However, I have always seen the best that our community has to offer and I have met some true gentlemen and ladies. Those who know me have seen my glee at a room full of us eating, drinking and conversing. It has always been the highlight of my evening to see everyone enjoying themselves.
The support from local community is what had kept the Mixers going for all of these years. Some have attended as many as 11 of the 13 that I have hosted, and I am forever grateful for the attendance and support.
I want to thank all of my co-hosts and assistants for their help and dedication. You guys rock!
On a final note, I cannot relinquish my attendee list to a future host. Many of the email addresses are private and I will not distribute them.
All my best to everyone!
TBM
TBM. You have been a tremendous asset to our community and provided an invaluable service. We will hate to see you step down. I for one would like you to reconsider. I cannot imagine anyone doing this better than you.
One just because I was out of town. Yeah, please reconsider ![]()
Pretty Please w/ sugar on top
I didn't get to make the last mixer either ![]()
I certainly can understand where you're coming from, but man, it's just never gonna be the same.
Like PerryMason101 said, I hope you'll reconsider.
TBM, you rock!
You are a supreme gentleman and have run these parties better than anyone I have ever known! Your parties are not easy at all to run but you made it look so easy! You reached out to touring ladies and locals and all of them benefitted from that. These parties have grown a lot also with you running them. Never has there ever been the amount of people attending as with you running them!
Thank you for all your effort and dedication into making them happen!
Octavia
Thank you for your huge contributions to organizing the M&G. Your efforts and dedication will always be remembered by the TER community. We hope you will be directly or indirectly active in future events.
... and selfishly add my desire that you carry on. I, too, was a "maybe," unable to attend because of a business scheduling conflict. But I hope you will have second thoughts about ending the wondrous thing you created.
the low turnout. At the Spring 2011 mixer it was so crowded I couldn't get across the room. I thought that was the precursor to a spectacular party year. You are the best, but it truly is a thankless job. I would hate to have to spend the entire night manning the front desk. Everyone who didn't show will regret it. This is NYC folks. We should be setting the standard for great parties. We already have all the great women.
Now you understand how hard it is for us gals. We stand on our heads, offer special donations, services, etc. It's all about the new and the different and the bargain of the week.
It's not YOUR fault. Folks want something different as you were wise enough to discertain.
I've always appreciated the work that goes into these parties. I was a part of the very first ones with Miki the Milf. It's time for someone else to carry the load. Let's see if they can come up with something so unique, so enticing in this economy that it works.
My best to you topbossman. Your efforts were exceptional. Thank you SO much!
Kisses,
Anneke
I can only echo what the others have said. You always did a fabulous job in putting the parties together and they will be missed.
And hold you in the highest regard. I am happy I was able to make one of your famed M&Gs. Having never been to one, it looked like a good turnout to me. Very classy and exquisitely done.
I wish you the best. Should you step back into it- I'm sure all of us would do happy dances. ![]()
XOXO,

Having attended most of these events, it will be sad to close the book on these. My thanks to you for your tremendous efforts in orchestrating these over the past four years. It's always been a blast to attend these, and there are lots of good memories.
Maybe it is time to let someone else take the reigns, and someone will no doubt eventually step into the breech. But it's hard to imagine anyone else having the credibility in the community, not to mention organizational skills and time, to pull this off seamlessly. They will have some mighty big shoes to fill...

Its tough planning something and going through the expense of throwing it only to have people no show. I think in the future this should be thoroughly explained to newbies....that a 'maybe' is safer then a tentative yes.
I really hope TBM changes his mind as so many people equate him with NYC and the mixers...it just will not be the same without him....he has until the spring ...I hope he takes this time to reflect and perhaps change his mind...and others take this time to let him know how appreciated he is.
gave plenty of notice that I wouldn't be able to get back to town by then. So I avoided being one of the "no shows." Too bad. Would have loved to be there.
As a party host myself, I KNOW exactly how TBM feels. Dealing with "no-shows" is the downside of hosting a party. After all the time , effort and expense , when people don't show up , it can be discouraging.
As I previously posted, the last Mixer was outstanding for FEMALE attendance. The "A-Listers" were out in force. I felt sorry for them and sorry for TBM. Both deserved better from the guys.
I think most people have an understanding what is involved with hosting and take their attendance seriously. But there is an element that apparently doesn't care or has no real appreciation for what a host has to go through.
TBM did a consistently AWESOME job of hosting and has left big shoes to fill.
Hopefully he might change his mind or someone will step up and take over his hosting duties.
I enjoyed both the last two mixers and add my voice to those who ask you to reconsider but if not, just wanted to thank you for hosting such fabulous parties.
The cost to attend the mixer is a joke, so I wouldn't blame the economy. A good NYC provider will cost you 5x the cover charge and you have to rely on pics which are always ???? The cool thing about the party is you get to see what your getting yourself into without sending out emails into a virtual world. The people who don't show shouldn't be able to ruin it for the rest of us, just get rid of the no shows. I got so many contacts from that party and I believe TBM is the perfect host.
TBM: Please allow me to add my thanks to you as well. Your M&Gs have always been amazing. I have attended everyone that my work schedule permitted me to attend and have thoroughly enjoyed myself at each one.
I can't even imagine how much work it must be to put such wonderful events together.
I too am very sorry to see you resigning your position (and hope you will reconsider). BUT most importantly, I just want to say thank you for all your hard work.
You are the best!!!!!

It is people like you that help to create a fun community. I'm only sorry I haven't been able to attend one (I had to cancel last minute for the last one because of family conflicts). I hope you will reconsider. . .
It means a lot to me.
I can attend one ![]()
and we wouldn't have scheduled the way we did, lol.
he can trust as much as you...
to continue the bi-coastal M&G conspiracy?!?!
Tell you what....
if AND ONLY IF....
you can arrange for this guy to take over the NYC M&G, then can you retire.........................

As everyone has said "Thank You". You did a difficult job with grace and a smile.
Hi,
While I have only been to one...... I completely enjoyed it and would come back!
You are a wonderful host and person,
Nicole xo
