Another vote for Sandy Hook (Gunnison Beach), NJ

Just be aware that the weekends bring out more gawkers walking around the beach. And you need to get there by 9-am-ish to park in the nearby lot. Otherwise you walk a looooong time.

I prefer the week days. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of going there with some of our lovely New York ladies. It's a Win-Win in that I get someone nice to chat with and share lunch/snacks, and they don't have to go alone, where they get a lot of guys 'just stopping by'. If you think the bar scene brings out bad intro/pick-up lines, single guys at a nude beach take it to a new level.  

From an observational perspective, talking with hundreds of folks over 20 years, I find it interesting to note that many folks that go there don't go to gawk (men) or compare (women). While we all have a curiosity as to what someone looks like when they walk on the beach, once the clothes are off the friendliness increases and conversations get better and less superficial. (For those who want to converse on the beach.)
