We will be in town in late June, where should we stay and what should we do?

Can't wait to let my hair down for a few days! What are the must see/ must do places/things in NYC??

Thanks in advance!

Em

Before the list of places come up, I wanted to advice walking through the city instead of cabs. You ll find hidden gems.
Donts: walk slow. NyC hates ppl who walk slow

I don't mind people walking slow, just make sure you leave enough space for people to pass you. Often people from out of town will walk in the middle of the sidewalk, leaving no room for people to pass them on either side, very problematic if in an area with narrow sidewalks.

And the gawkers.
.
And the groups that are walking two or three abreast, SEE you coming from the opposite direction and are too stupid to compress to let you by!

Step aside so I can pass by or pass through!!!

The perfect rhythm of life for me but too cold to live ,
Waited until beginning of May to see Manhattan for the first time. Hope the weather 2-5 May will be perfect.

I'm also planning a trip in mid-May. Can't wait! It's been far too long and last time it was snowing xx

hoping to be able to get out and about some while I'm there! Of course staying in with the right person works too! ;-)
