We are a new agency. Of course we have a few girls who are exclusive to us. But a few girls have come to us for interviews who work for other agencies. I thought it was normal for a girl to work for a few agencies, especially as the rate that the clients would pay us is the same as the rate that they would pay the other agencies that these ladies work with. I would have taken all that for granted as normal for the business- certainly when I was working I worked for 2 or 3 agencies at the same time. I very often notice that there is some overlap between agencies like Mona Lisa and New York Covergirls.
But the post about Aprez Vous and Friends and seeing the negative response from gentlemen makes me wonder, particularly as her rate is the same at both places. Do you expect the ladies that you see to be exclusive to one agency? Would it have been better if she used the same name? What is your opinion on the matter? Do you think Aprez acted in bad faith by hiring a girl who is already on another webpage?
Please let us know, as we are very anxious not to do anything that might display some kind of bad faith or lack on honesty.
I cannot respond to the question as it relates to outcall agencies, but I can tell you that when Julie's, incall agency, discovered that several recent additions were also listed with an out of town agency, the uproar from Julie's clients mirrored Julie's outrage. The girls were given a second chance, if, and only if, they severed any relationship with the other agency.
I think it fair to say that those who choose incall agencies are assuming that the incall agency exerts some form of quality control over selection and continuing behavior of the providers. To discover that the provider is listed with another agency outraged Julie's clients, as well as Julie.
I can undersatnd from an Agencies perspective that they might not want their girls working for another agency. I'm assuming that if the girl is a commodity you would like to have exclusive access to the rewards of that commodity. But I cannot understand why a hobbyist would care whether a girl is exclusive or not. Really what possible interest could a hobbyist have in whether a girl is exclusive with one agency or another (assuming of course that the charges are the same). So from my perspective I don't care at all. I am curious Captyve about the rationale behind your perspective, because frankly I don't get it. No disrespect intended.
Thanks so much for your response...![]()
I see that clients get upset at the agencies when they see the same girl at different places. But I guess my question is: why? If the photo is real, the price is right, and the service is good, why should it matter so much to the hobbyist if the girl works at one place or five? Especially if her service is good.
I am very interested to hear any responses to this. Thanks for taking the time to write back.
I can only speak for the Julies clients, who were outspoken on this. Whether rational or not, Julie's clients believe that Julie supervises the girls: Specifically, if a girl hasn't shaved her legs, or has gone natural around her pussy, or there is a smell from her, or she demands a tip, or she only allows BJ during a half hour session: the customer can complain to Julie on her website and action will be taken. And it is. It really is taken on those objections which are verifiable and obvious--or the girl is gone. So that the incall agency is doing more than just recruiting the girls, scheduling them, providing voicemal, collecting the fee, providing an apartment. The incall agency also does "quality" control. Too many complaints and the girl changes or is thrown out.
If a provider is represented by more than one agency, then any sort of quality control exerted by the agency is instantly--and obviously--laughable. The provider is who she is. Take it or leave it. The agency is just an answering service, website provider, buyer of co-operative advertising in the Village Voice.
That's why I've found it amusing that all these "outcall" agencies have any "loyal" clients. If a provider is represented by more than one agency, than the agency IS just like Carmel Car Service versus Tel Aviv Car Service versus Masada Car Service--no quality control. It's only when you go to a Fugazy, Carey, or Big Apple Car Service--where all the cars are black Lincolns or Mercedes and spotlessly clean--do you realize that there is a potentially additional function being performed--quality control. Anyone with a six passenger car gets hired by Carmel, etc. Fugazy, Carey, Big Apple buy the car or lend to the buyer to buy the car and hire the driver and have quality control.
Hello "New Agency"
One of the most important things you need to decide is how you are going to "treat" your escorts from a tax standpoint. Will they be employees or independent contractors. As employees, you will be required to withold taxes, social security and unemployment insurance. Sounds like a pain doesn't it? This why most agencies treat their girls as independent contractors. But what most of them are doing by restricting the girls from working for other agencies is violating the IRS test and running the risk of having the girls declared employees. This could subject the agency to past witholdings and penalties. Agencies that treat their girls as ICs but restrict them from working elsewhere are just asking for trouble.
Escort agencies are legal businesses but as businesses they must comply with IRS regulations or face the risk of serious problems down the road. This is the downfall of many agencies.
I'll be happy to discuss the things you need to know as a new business if you'd like to give me a call. My nunmber is 561-213-1801.
Kind regards,
Hugh
What happens is if there is a problem with the other agency, you become tainted with the same brush. Best to keep your girls under one roof. Of course if you do not have enough work for them do blurred head shots and different looking body shots and make sure the girl is great
Also, do you have Brooklyn outcalls?
In theory, this probably isn't a big deal. In practice there
are issues.
First, it's VERY tacky to have two separate ads for the same
girl on TER using two different names. How are we dudes going
to keep track of her via her profile? Also, which site is her
profile going to be linked to? On this, I don't care, but
believe me you and the other agency will if she works out well.
There are other issues. Maybe I'll get into them later.

PS What's the deal with the alias?
Get your story straight Frankie....Male or Female ?? You can't be both.
Check the posting history. It should be pretty obvious whether
I'm male or female.

Captyve, Thanx for your input. However, I don't buy it. Julies may be great about quality control. Unfortunately, that is the exception not the rule. If a girl is with her and elsewhere and the type of service you expect is the type of service you receive at Julies, then you simply only see the provider at Julies. As you said if the girl's service is subpar, Julie will toss her and if you found her service subpar you wouldn't see that provider with another service anyway. Julie or any other service for that matter achieves quality control as a condition of the girl being with her agency. So the girls who work for Julie always comply ( or they're gone). So as a hobbyist you know when you see the girl at Julies you'll get the quality you're looking for. Whatever she may or may not do outside of Julies has no impact on your ability to get the service you're looking for in Julies. From a hobbyists point of view I say let the girl's make what they can wherever they can. However, I can understand if an agency has a different perspective, although according to the agency post above, IRS issues may decide everything.
