I am going to be in Manhattan on the 31st of January through the 6th of February. This is my first visit to your city and I am very excited! I am in need of some advice though. I would like to find a centrally located hotel that is discreet and very clean. I like to get a nice room when I travel. I am traveling with another girl and she was told that you should not stay in hotels with a doorman. Is this the case? Are there certain hotels to avoid and are there certain hotels that are the best. Any help is appreciated.
